How to Set Up Email for Hosted Exchange Accounts

Sincere Apologies. The hosted exchange provider essentially had a complete server meltdown and has informed me to upgrade to exchange2016 rom exchange2013 which they can’t fix in a timely manner.

The new platform is directly on Microsoft's platform and they (SolutionUnion) have been helping me with that process

We have recreated your email account and details for setting up on your iPhone and iPad are below.

OFFICE 365 Email Account Setup

KEY SETTINGS
Email: (Put your email address here)
Password: Youll need to know this.

 

IPHONE and IPAD INSTRUCTIONS

Tap through the below sequence and fill in as noted.

Settings
Accounts & Passwords
Add Account
Exchange
Email: ###Enter your email address###
Description: Exchange
Tap Next
Tap Sign In
Verifying appears on the screen and then goes to login.microsoftonline.com
Enter password: ###########

Option Come up for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Notes

Im not sure what to Select but Mail and Reminders is probably Safe. Dont touch contacts as it may overwrite phone contacts.

Tap Save
Close
Open MAIL
Go into Exchange Account
Pull Down and check for errors
Send an email from yourself to yourself.


SAMSUNG
Not sure but Select Exchange and use the correct username and password.

SETUP ON WINDOWS PC IN OUTLOOK

Follow this step by step..

Close Your Current Outlook Program
Search for Mail in the Windows Search Box
Click on Control Panel When it comes up
Find Mail in Control Panel and Click on it
Click on Show Profiles
Click on Add
Give Profile Name - OFFICE365
Click OK
Enter in Your Name: **Your Name**
Your Email Address: ###Enter your email address###
Password: #########
Retype Password: ########
Click Next
Should with 30 second say “Your e-mail account is successfully configured
Click Finish
Click Radio Button - Prompt for a profile to be used.
Click OK

Open Outlook and Select OFFICE365
Enter Your Password: ##########
Click on Remember My Credentials

Check that can send and receive an email by sending to self

Close Outlook and Open Again and Select OFFICE365

Should open without a prompt for password this time.

SETUP ON MAC MAIL INSTRUCTIONS

Open MAC MAIL
Click on Mail
Click on Add Account
Click on Exchange
Click on Continue
Enter Name: **Your Name**
Enter Email Address: ###Enter your email address###
Enter Password: #########
Click Next
Select Which Things you want to synchronise. e.g. Mail, Contacts, Calendards, Reminders, notes. - I can’t be sure if this is safe. If unsure just select Mail and Reminders.
Click Done
The Account will appear on left hand side. Go into it and you can send an email to yourself.

Solution Union will migrate these emails into your account over the coming week

You can view your emails by logging into outlook via the original outlook profile until this happens.

Through Teamview GTP can export and import these emails from the old account to the new account as well.
